DAMASCUS- Ministry of Interior honored Saturday the families of the security forces' martyrs who were killed by “armed terrorist groups”.
In speech of Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar said ''It's such a great honor to offer sacrifices for Syria to remain strong and unbowed, '' adding that Damascus will always remain the beating heart of Arabism, and that armed terrorist groups are terrorizing citizens and vandalizing public and private properties, vowing to fight these criminal gangs to the end.
Minister al-Shaar stressed that Internal Security Forces keen to continue their efforts to “purify” the Syrian land from “all outlaws” in order to achieve justice and restore stability and security in Syria.
Al-Shaar also greeted the internal security forces for their valor in fighting terrorism.
''Reform, freedom and democracy stand in stark contrast to the practices of the terrorist groups who are inciting crises in Syria…These acts only go to serve Israel which can't remain safe except by igniting troubles around.'' he added.
In turn, families of martyrs vowed “their sons` blood confront that terrorism won’t blunt the will of the Syrian people.” They also assured that Syrians are the only ones whom are entitled to write their own name without any foreign interference.
