SANA: Fabricated Videos of Acts of Violence in Syria

(DP-News – Agencies )

DAMASCUS- Syrian Army personnel on Friday found mobile phones using non-Syrian SIM cards and positioning software and digital cameras containing short fabricated videos depicting acts of violence and fake repression of protests, according to SANA.

SANA added “The phones and cameras were carried by members of an armed criminal group that attacked a military location in Rakhem al-Hirak area in Daraa countryside.

The group members also carried clubs, swords and metal implements that were used during protests against security forces, in addition to bottles full of real blood to be used in filming fabricated acts of violence and bottles filled with gasoline to start fires.”

SANA also reported that thousands from Hasaka lay Martyr Abdullah Ahmad al-Yousef to Rest In a massive official and popular procession.
Also SANA said that “As part of the attacks on the part of armed criminal groups against citizen, policemen and public and private property, an armed criminal group burned a number of public transport busses in Tishreen quarter near Damascus on Friday.”

While many Western Leaders have condemned Syria for the deaths of at least 72 people, according to Human Rights Activists, in one of the bloodiest days of a month-long turmoil in Syria.

The incident came amid street clashes one day after President al-Assad scrapped decades of emergency rule and as demonstrators gathered to test long-sought freedoms.

The official SANA news agency said security forces intervened using tear gas and a water cannon to "prevent clashes" between protesters and passers-by.
SANA spoke of 10 dead, including police, but rights groups put the toll much higher.

"The Syrian security forces committed massacres in several towns and regions today (Friday), so far killing 72 people and wounding hundreds," the London-based Syrian Human Rights Committee said.
Several rights activists also published provisional lists recording the deaths of more than 70 people.
Friday's death toll compared with killings on March 23 in the southern town of Daraa, a focus of the protests, when activists said 100 people died.

US President Barack Obama condemned Syria's "outrageous" use of violence, accusing the regime of seeking Iran's aid in a brutal month-long crackdown.

Obama said in his statement “The Syrian Government's moves yesterday to repeal Syria’s decades-old Emergency Law and allow for peaceful demonstrations were not serious given the continued violent repression against protesters today.”

Syrian official source on Saturday expressed regret over a statement made by US President Barrack Obama on Friday regarding the situation in Syria since it isn't based on an objective and comprehensive view of what is truly happening.

The source said that Syria already refuted what the US Administration claimed regarding the use of Iran or others to resolve internal issues, expressing surprise over the US Administration insistence to repeat these allegations which shows a lack of responsibility and represents a part of the instigation that puts Syrian citizens at risk.

Allow foreign journalists in Syria; without them your claims can't be proved or verified and are not objective.

'Subjective, Fake Reports' ...

So, all those dead protesters are 'fake dead' ...? If the out-of-control carnage and abuse of human rights in Syria weren't so horrific, the comments from Syria's "official source" would be hilarious. Syria needs to wake up and come into the present century. The world condemns regime and Baath party and will hold them responsible.
