DAMASCUS- Syrian Football Union announced on Saturday that Syrian Coach Nizar Mahrous have officially signed the contract to lead the Syrian National team ahead of World Cup qualifications of Brazil 2014.
The Syrian National football team will meet Tajikistan counterpart twice on July 23 and 28th.
Nizar Mahrous was a key player in the Syrian national football team in the eighties and nineties last century.
Mahrous has supervised number of local and Arab teams including Syrian al-Wahda and al-Jaish. Mahrous also led teams in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Lebanon.
